Return Eligibility

  • A 25% restocking fee will apply to all returned items.
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging and in new, unused condition.
  • Final sale and custom-made items are not eligible for return.

Return Process

  1. Request a Return – Contact our customer service team at return@modernmtnhome.com within 14 days of receiving your order to initiate a return.
  2. Receive Authorization – We will provide you with a return authorization and instructions on how to ship your item back.
  3. Ship the Item
    • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
    • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for high-value items, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.
    • Ensure the item is properly packed in its original packaging to prevent damage.
  4. Refund Processing – Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund, minus the 25% restocking fee.

Refund Timeline

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days after the returned item has been inspected and approved.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged, please take the following steps:

  • Document the Damage – Take clear photos of the damaged item and packaging.
  • Report the Issue – Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the photos and order details.
  • File a Claim – A shipping damage claim must be filed with the shipment service. We will assist you in this process if needed.
  • Replacement or Refund – Upon claim approval, we will offer a replacement or refund.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Items without original packaging.
  • Used or assembled items.
  • Custom or made-to-order products.
  • Clearance or final sale items.
